REFUND & RETURN POLICY

We want you to love your Melodisk. Please read the policy below, as different rules apply to ready-made editions and personalized (Custom) editions.
Return Window
We offer two return options depending on your situation:
15-Day Defect Guarantee: If your item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, you have 15 days from the date of delivery to request a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. We will cover all return shipping costs in this case. This applies to all products, including Custom editions.
30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with a ready-made edition for any reason, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, the item must be returned in its original condition, unused, with all original packaging and accessories included. In this case, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
Custom Editions
Because Custom editions are personalized and made specifically for you using your own photos, they cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind or personal preference. This is in line with consumer law on personalized goods. Custom editions are only eligible for a replacement or refund if they arrive damaged, defective, or do not work correctly, under the 15-Day Defect Guarantee above.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, contact us at contact@themelodisk.store with your order number and reason for return. Do not send items back without prior authorization — unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Return Address
Once your return is approved, we will provide you with the return address and instructions.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank may take additional time to process the refund.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Custom editions, except in the case of a defect (see above)
- Items returned without prior authorization
- Items not in their original condition or packaging
- Items returned after the applicable return window has expired
- Gift cards
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange an item is to return it following the process above and place a new order separately once the return is approved.
European Union — 14-Day Cooling Off Period
If your order is shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must be in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging. This right does not apply to Custom editions, as personalized goods are exempt from the cooling-off period under EU consumer law.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, contact us immediately at contact@themelodisk.store so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
